Soil & Field (4 points)
- Bund strengthening — repair field bunds to retain water
- Drainage channels — clear outflow channels to prevent waterlogging
- Soil test — get it done before the first rain (book via app)
- Green manure — incorporate dhaincha/sunhemp 3 weeks before sowing
Inputs (3 points)
- Seed stock — buy certified seeds 2 weeks before sowing
- Fertilizer plan — based on soil test, not habit
- Pesticide buffer — keep neem oil + one fungicide ready
Equipment (3 points)
- Sprayer service — clean nozzles, check pressure
- Pump check — test diesel/electric pumps before the season
- Tarpaulin — cover stored inputs against humidity
Records (2 points)
- Crop insurance — renew PMFBY/PMFBY before the deadline
- KCC review — check your Kisan Credit Card limit is adequate
